Today's blog post is going to be focused around free-market principles in the workplaces of domestic workers.
I'll be honest with you, I am not on one extreme side of communism vs capitalism. I'm still exploring my opinions but that doesn't mean I can't look at the obvious flaws with how capitalism is practiced in economies and be able to identify the unethical practices within these systems.
The greed and incentive for profit isn't an exception to domestic workplaces , in fact it may even be more. Employers of domestic workers themselves don't earn high wages and so for them trying to attain as much money as possible means keeping information from workers about their minimum wage laws, how much time they work etc.
Once again, we see another indication to the anatomy of these workplaces in which once again, the rich benefit and the poor suffer. This further gets worsened when the people who get worse off are already in a vulnerable position.
But hey! who's going take care of the economy am I right?
Cant agree more! Great that you are igniting the thought process around this problem.. All the best
Really interesting perspective to look at!
